Sam Ireland, Charles W. Curtis, John Hill, Dana Crockett and son Ernest, are shown here on a fishing trip to Moosehead Lake. All were Dexter business owners except Curtis, who was cashier, and then president, of First National Bank of Dexter. He took yearly trips to Moosehead with varying companions. On an early trip as a "large boy" he went fishing while his companions went hunting. "I brought in sixty trout and we ate all for dinner."
